Product Discontinuance Notification - PDN 0000427387
April 01, 2025
We would like to inform you that Moxa is going to discontinue the MRC-1002 Series.
This process will effectively begin April 1, 2025. MRC will transition to a pure software service, with hardware support shifting to the OnCell Series.
If you need any of these discontinued products for an existing project, please contact your Moxa sales representative to place orders before December 31, 2025. All models are available while supplies last. Note that last-buy orders may be subject to availability. Also, because of the European Union's Radio Equipment Directive (RED), models with cellular function will only be available for sale until the end of July 2025 in the EU.
MRC Quick Link, which is compatible with the MRC-1002 Series, will end its service by December 2026 and will be replaced by MRC Quick Link Ultra. The MRC-1002 Series can be upgraded to FW v4.1 in July 2025 and transitioned to MRC Quick Link Ultra.
Contact your Moxa sales representative to arrange the transition.
For details on the differences between MRC Quick Link and MRC Quick Link Ultra, refer to the ?MRC Quick Link Migration? section below the PDN.
Review the details below to determine how these discontinuances will affect your products and/or operations.
